Tests
The scope of sampling is to determine whether there is methamphetamine residue in a property.
Samples are extracted with 0.1M sulphuric acid followed by dilution. Analysis by LC-MS/MS (NIOSH 9111 modified).
Submitted samples comprise up to 5 surface wipes combined into a single container by the sampler. The laboratory then combines 2 Field Composite samples for analysis.
The results are reported as µg/sample and represent the average of all residues from the 2 samples making up the Laboratory Composite.
Results can be used and relied on to screen for methamphetamine contamination
